On the Threshold of a Dream

I'm trying to decide what I should use my DreamWidth journal for... I don't think I want to use it as a regular or meditative journal, per se... I just don't have a great desire to write down my thoughts (which is a surprise to me, since I've wanted to be an author since I first put pencil to paper). It's a struggle even to write this little post. *Shrug* I just want to write poetry and fiction. As such, I think I'll probably make this a place to record my dreams (when I remember to) or to write poems (when I don't).

And this is neither here nor there (well, maybe a little there, in the poetry column), but now I have part of The Moody Blues' "In the Beginning" lyrics stuck in my head:
Face piles of trials with smiles. It riles
them to believe that you perceive the web they weave.
And keep on thinking free
